Been reading since October or November last year. I've commented 4 or 5 times. I guess that makes me a lurker.

I get your twitter notifications on my phone and am pretty sure you and YouTube are responsible for most of my beauty purchases since last spring. It's okay, I'm really good with that! :-)

I had just got back into nail polish and was thrilled to death I could enter in a nail polish into Google so I came across your site several times from simple product searches. Later in summer I started seeing more of it and decided to actually bookmark you. After I downloaded the app for Feedly on my iPhone I became a superfan, reading ever post and started commenting lately as well as following you on Facebook. I commented under the name "Miss Kitty Nails" at first and when I updated my Google Account it switched me to my name. Oh well.

My hair has everything wrong with it but I also know I've been bottomed out on my vitamin D for quite awhile and my doc said my body isn't retaining it. (PS. I live in FL.) ReplyDeleteOkay, I had to go through old sinful colors posts and figure out the first collection I stalked... which was Adventure Island- so my best guess is June 2011. Makes sense because that's when I first started to really get into nail polish, with my discovery of zoya, and ulta, which lead to the Pirates of the caribbean OPI collection. Mostly I comment on your fb page and instagram pics!!

ReplyDeleteI found Nouveau Cheap back in Autumn of 09 while searching Milani swatches. It was the collection that featured cremes and glitter counterparts. Don't remember the name but I have the green and purple creme, as well as the purple glitter called Shimmering Purple (my 1st bar glitter!) I comment when I want to share my thoughts or ideas, like most people hopefully. I dislike the label "lurker"...maybe you enjoy reading but don't have anything to add or say, soooo?...as if that makes one creepy or something, lol!?!?

Although the renaissance is ebbing (meaning that I'm not buying every single thing I want anymore), I still read your blog for ideas, information, and reviews. I've found out about the brand Lumene because of you (love it!) and I'm always interested in learning more about cruelty free brands. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this blog. ReplyDeleteThanks to your blog, G , I've been able to save $$$ by buying drugstore beauty products that are just as good if not better than high end. Perfect example: fergie eyeshadow primer..$5 vs what I used to use, urban decay primer potion $20 !! I swear they are equally as good!

ReplyDeleteI have been a reader for about a year now -- since I first started really getting into makeup. I found your site through Bailey Brown of Making Up the Midwest. She had a blog posting about ways she saves money on makeup and she listed your website as a go-to for finding great makeup deals. I've been in love ever since. Not only do you give us the scoop on awesome deals, but your reviews are always honest, in depth and reliable. It really helps when navigating through all the products out there. I'd consider myself more of a lurker, although I did accidentally send you an email once that I had actually meant to send to myself. Lol. By the way, I did end up picking up the NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar, and I LOVE it. It is one of my all-time faves. So thanks for that! Congrats on the anniversary!

The content is great and I have really "saved" on products with the drugstore coupons. Saved is in quotes because if I didn't read this blog I probably wouldn't buy so much makeup/skincare.
